About a week ago I put a small decal on my truck's side window which says support our troops with the American flag as background. This morning I found where someone had keyed it with an X cutting into the glass. My only wish is I could catch the SOB doing this.

Might there have been any surveillance cameras in the area. Your insurance company might be interested.

I can appreciate your anger, but why jump to the conclusion that it was about your decal?
I may have misunderstood. Are you saying they keyed your truck or they keyed your decal? If they actually cut into the glass I suspect they used something more substantial than a key. A ceramic pocket knife will easily cut glass. Most keys, not so much.
