Long time shooter, Short time Artist. I started out in the Dark Ages when all I had was a Olympus OM-1 and I was in the military. I had thousands of pictures of Korea, Germany and parts of the U.S. however my mother died and since I had left them with her, they all vanished. So I progressed to Digital and a little after I discovered GIMP, PhotoShop, and a host of other photo editing software. So now I am really really old and amuse myself with taking a few photos in this barren state and playing with GIMP. I love to download pictures of Beautiful things and enjoy looking at them. I really joined this site to look at all the debates (Lens vs. Lens, Camera vs Camera, apeture settings etc.) and maybe join in some of them.
