8 Year Old Granddaughter / Photographer

My 8 year old granddaughter Ellie loves everything about photography. After recently purchasing a mint condition "Storm Trooper" Pentax camera for her from Dewey, we went to the local park to let her try it out. I think she did a pretty good job, but then again I'm a proud PapPop. Attaching one of her pictures, as well as an iPhone snap of her from yesterday.

Wonderful all the way round. She's figured out how to handle the camera. This is going to be fun for the two of you.

Great story - watching the passion children have for something like photography where there is so much to learn is fun to watch. It also speaks highly of her family. I have the same camera- great choice. Enjoy!! Thanks for sharing.

Nice set Bill. I have my grand daughters interested in photography as well. Great to see the world through their eyes.

Thanks J-SPEIGHT! They do see things differently. Ellie also took pictures of some carelessly thrown litter, and wants to make a collage with the duck in the middle surrounded by the litter as a message to pick up trash and not mess up the park.
