Nikon Focusing Screen

Hi All, I Have a Nikon D1X, came with a loose focusing screen, I tried to replace it, but it seems it's too wide and won't snap in place, is the D1X and D2XS focusing screens the same size and are they interchangeable? Thanks in advance for any help.

Not interchangeable (I think).
KEH lists one compatible with D1 and F100.
B&H lists another compatible with D2X and D2H.
Dogs got me up early today.

Thanks Oddjobber, I see on KEH that the one I was trying to install has a tab on it and that the D1X doesn't, so I was trying to install wrong screen, thanks for your advice. This Dog is always up early and I have no dogs,lol
