No but considering how I mistreat my cameras they are build like tanks (D300, D800e and now D500).

Well, Nikon is the choice of the Army for its combat photographers. Not really proof of anything, but they must be pleased.

Never-mind space, combat photographers and careless photographers... When kids are involved... Best reference ever if one really thinks about. Those rug rats can destroy something that took years to build in seconds!

There must be at least a dozen different ways to destroy a camera. Plus, some Nikon cameras are more rugged than others.

Royal Caribbean, uses Nikon Cameras, exclusively on all their ships......

This isn't confined to just Nikon's. Several years ago when Kai was working with Digital Rev, they put a 7D through some grueling punishment. It's a long bit but has some pretty funny bits.

I don't mistreat my cameras, but definitely don't baby them either. When I consider the things through which I've put my 1971 Nikon F, along with some of the Nikomats I own, and all are still working, I'd say that's a testament to durability.
