I'm fortunate to live on a mountain above 4000' with an incredible variety mushrooms (as well as other flora & fauna). I walk the mountain searching for interesting subject matter 2-3 times a week. These are a small sample of what is up here.
Great shots,i hope you managed to pick youself up ok.
Very nice.... You sure have a vast variety of different types. Well done.

Great angles on these shots. (I'd still be lying there, unable to get up.)
Most are poisnous for sure so would not recommend any sort of consumption. Unusual angles give the viewer something different to consider since shrooms are usually viewed from directly above. Making a pix unusual or different is my goal....in addition to pursuing a technically high quality outcome of course. :)

I'd still be lying there too, except I'd be so HaPPy I wouldn't be wanting to get up!
good job, they would be cool in a kitchen arrangement
Love the angles just as everyone else. I would still be laying there too crying out for someone for help!
We are fortunate to be able to enjoy the scenery without having to climb 4,000 feet.
Thanks.
Rest assured you would only have to drive up to my log cabin in your vehicle (on paved roads), then hike around only another 300-400 feet altitude, but over some miles to see what I see.

Call ahead before you arrive so I can make sure and be availailable, eh? Dry spell going on the last few days and if you are coming for Shrooms, you will be disappointed. Shrooms thrive on shade and moisture and at the moment, our mountain is only providing shade. Heat is oppressive, even at this altitude (85 here today). Watch the weather for ZIP 28730 and if you see high humidity or rain is expected, bring it on!
