I was at the VA in Asheville today with my son and had my pocket camera. Thought you might like to see this tribute to our Vets. Names and other info are put on stones and placed in the Cairn. I've watched them grow from just a few. Some are quite detailed, even carved.

The cairn isn't in a place that would be easily found by visitors and so many vets go there from the surrounding area, TN, SC, GA, that parking can be hard to find.
Hope you found interesting things to do here. There's something for everyone!
