Polarizing filter experiment - Quantum Physics is weird

Many of us can try this at home, all you need is 3 polarizing filters. If you don't have 3 polarizers you can use 1 filter, a pair of polarized sunglasses, and a computer monitor or smartphone display (since those are polarized).

Very good video. He must have good resources at his disposal.

His channel is quite good. I highly recommend checking out his other videos if you're into that kind of stuff.

I'm not into it. Instead of endlessly Bull shitting in the beginning they should have gotten right to the point. And even then I really didn't give a damn.

After retirement, I taught Math/Science/Special Ed [learning disability] So, I have heard that attitude expressed as you expressed it before. Often the attitude is summarized with the curt pointed existential phrase.. "Whats Your Point??"... That is followed after the point is explained by a curt, "So What!" Alas, those students graduate, thrive, and are appointed to govern the monies spent on research!!

Foathog... do you want to know about Circular, Polarization? aaa, well, aaaa er, yes, the 1/4 wave filter material sandwiches called Circular Polarizing Filters?? And, in a sense foathog, I agree with you, why do I need to know ... The outcome of the photograph has nothing to do with our knowledge of how the filters work in the Quantum Realm... only that they are pointed in the right direction and the button pushed.

So many videos take 30 seconds to more than a minute to get started. It's like they're being paid by the second. After the floating logos and music, the guy comes on and rambles for a while before getting to the point. Luckily, we can FF the video.
