Which Cannon and lenses would you suggest for bird shots, as I am presently looking at the Nikon D500 and 850, and have been told the Cannon mark 1 70 80 or 7 Ds might be a good choice aswell

Currently I am using a 70-200 2.8 L for casual birding and a Sigma 150-600 C for longer distances like hawk migration. These are on a Canon 80D.

Currently using Canon 80D with the 70-300 IS II nano for budget reasons. The 400 f5.6 prime is my next lens for Canon - fast focus and light weight because there is no IS getting in the way . I have also used the 300 2.8 in my stronger days .....and when the sensors were not as good as they are today.
