For the last two months, southwestern Montana has been either been on fire or blanketed by smoke from the fires. Well, last Thursday and Friday, we received a significant amount of rain and snow, which helped slow the process. It was strange to see blue skies and distant objects.
Looking from the east side of the valley towards the west.

I know, the glare is a little much, but it looks pretty cool anyhow.

Very nice images. Drove up McDonald Pass on Friday during the initial storm.....had to use 4-wheel drive for the first time.
The balance of the picture is great. I can see where it would be had to control the glare. BB

Glad to see clear skies for you out there. Nice set of images.
I'm glad you made it over the pass safely. It can be a little nasty at times.

I'd like to see more of them. The smoke was getting really old. Thanks for looking.

Like bad weather, it's nice when smoke goes away.
You get the fire and smoke and we get the wind and rain here in florida.
