Grid size in library module in Lightroom

I have lost the slider that controls the size of the image in grid view in the library module. I used to have it, and it disappeared some time ago, I occasionally try to figure out how to restore it, but get frustrated and move on. Can anyone help?

Is the whole toolbar gone or just the slider? If the toolbar then, in grid mode, press "T" to toggle the toolbar on and off. If it's just the slider, click the down arrow at the far right and click "Thumbnail Size" to on. You can then tick any other tool you feel like using.
