I have been to SA a couple of years ago and loved it. Because of another poster today I/m thinking about going again. I checkout his website about his trip, and said wouldn't it be great to have an UHH trip. Let me know if you are interested and I will get the ball rolling. We could go sometime in May of 18.

I went to four countries in Africa and Botswana was my favorite. They are one of the few countries that have outlawed game hunting. Have a great and wonderful trip.

Hooray for Botswana. Now if only the rest of the African countries would follow suit. Photographers vastly outnumber trophy hunters.

Philo, if you need a few tips for the trip let me know. Our last trip was a self drive in Kruger park for 8 days with a cost of under $3500 per couple excluding air fare

I was just there in July. It was amazing. The company we used was Pangolin Photo Tours and then for the extended safari they turned us over to Earth Ark both companies are owned and operated by photographers for photographers. Great people and very reasonably priced we thought for all we got. Check them out

I just heard from the tour owner and he says that 2018 is out. Maybe 2019. That killed my idea. at 82 I can't plan more the a year ahead. Life is good.

I've went to Southern Africa (SA, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe) last year. I'll go again but this time to the Serengeti during the great migration.
Let me know if that's your intent. BTW, the safari was great, very enjoyable. The Serengeti safari is different hence my going there.
