I have been searching for a bridge camera such as a Nikon P900 or Canon SX60. My issue is that I am used to taking a picture through the view finder then reviewing the result in the LED screen. I don't have a camera store nearby and I thought I would ask the Forum if anyone has found a bridge camera that I can do this with. Thanks for your comments.

The P900 has both a viewfinder and a screen. If you enable it via the menus, it will automatically switch to the viewfinder when you put your eye up to it. You can enable or disable an approximately 2 second review immediately after the shot (visible in either way). My preference is to leave the selector on auto and the immediate review off because it can make you miss the next shot with birds. My wife prefers the opposite for both and it's her camera.

The RX10m3 (and 4) do that and while having less zoom offer a faster lens and much better IQ. The RX10m3/4 have a MUCH better viewfinder, too.

But don't kid yourself, the IQ of a small sensor will not equal the IQ of a large sensor. There is a reason for DSLR's and full frame mirrorless cameras.

The Lumix FZ1000 is a great bridge camera that has all the perks you listed plus it shoots 4K video. I am a dslr shooter and got the FZ1000 just for the 4K video function.

I got one of those this summer and have been really happy with it. While I don't shoot a lot of video, what I have shot has been very good. I mostly wanted the EVF and articulated screen, 1" sensor, fast lens, good handling and reasonable price. Amazon had them under $500 on Prime day!

My therapist just had a Nikon COOLPIX P90 given to her and she asked me to show her how to use it. I got her started and I loved the camera except for the smaller pic size (12.1 mp) I could work with that even, and my seriously look at it or some others mentioned as a backup or for the wife. It's pricier than some others mentioned. The 900 is better and the one I am seriously looking at also (and cheaper than the 90). The 700 is no slouch either. Less FPS but more pixels.

No contest , you need a Panasonic LumixFZ1000. It has 1inch Sensor and nearly as many controls as a DSLR plus a Leica designed 25/400mm lens to boot.

The Canon SX60hs should do what you want. Electronic viewfinder and a fully articulated LED screen that can tilt, rotate, and can even be used towards the front of the camera!
It can be easily programmed to allow you to review the picture or stay live.
The Canon SX60hs can shoot both JPEG and RAW, even saving both at the same time. It has a 65X zoom, 21 to 1365 mm equivalent.
Very light weight, over 1/2 pound lighter and physically smaller than the Nikon P900 or the Lumix.
Great bridge/carry camera!

I own an SX50 HS and I do that often, view thru the viewfinder, then check the photo on the screen. I'm sure the SX60 HS can do the same.

Huh? DSLR's don't have EVF.

Sony has not shipped the RX 10 Mk IV yet, so am pretty sure you're about 12-18 months before we see the V version.

You must be talking about the RX 100 Mk V.

If I understand what you are asking, Mike, both the Nikon P900 and the B700 offer the feature that turns on your Viewfinder when you put your eye up to it, and reverts back to the LCD when you take it away from your eye. So you could take your pic using the viewfinder and then take it away from your face and view the results on the LCD screen. The SX60, which is a wonderful camera in its own right and I love mine, does not have this feature.
