Spotted this little spider on a daisy and watched it for a few minutes. When I first saw him he had already captured the green fly. Shortly after this photo, he pulled the fly under the flower and I lost sight of him.

This spider did not appear to have a web. I think he just lays in wait for his prey.

You're right George. Crab spiders do not spin webs to capture prey. They are ambush hunters with very strong legs that wait for their victims and administer a very lethal bite. They won't harm you. Nice shot for sure.
