Wish I could help. Been through the books without any real success. I agree with the previous post - your duck is most likely a hybrid.

Looks like it might be a cross between a Muscovy and a Crested duck. It does have a slight top knot like the domestic Crested, but with the black of the Muscovy.

Muscovy is the first thing that popped into my mind, but he looks like he may have something else in him, too!
