That's plenty ok, the beauty and the fun of photography, the creativity of it all. Artistic license if you will and you are the artist.

lwiley, let me tell you something about the mentality of my photography. I purposely do not have any desires to go commercial with my photos. As soon as a photographer does that, then it is a business and everything changes. Thank you for thinking the book would do well, and who knows? Maybe it would. It would take a lot of the enjoyment out of it for me. Now, I'm just pleasing myself and not responsible for pleasing anyone else. I don't have to answer to anyone. Here is another reason why the coffee table would not work for me: To publish a book like that since on many of the photos you can recognize the surfer by his or her face, I would have to get photo releases. As it stands right now, since I am not making any money on the photos and the photos are not degrading my subjects or offending them in any way I don't have to worry about photo releases. Thank you lwiley for the nice compliments though.
