If you look at history back a few hundred years ago, some of the worst slavers in the world were the Somali's in North Africa who were black themselves. They would go out into the African bush and capture and drag people back in chains. Not a pretty site. There were plenty of bad actors on the white side as well i.e. my own ancestors, the Welsh. Slavery exists even to this day and the majority are not black. Any way you look at it, it was and still is a bad deal, for everyone involved who loose their freedom.

What we are showing is the stupidity of democrats in claiming only white Americans owned slaves. They are trying to rewrite history and hate to be reminded that they are wrong and stupid as usual.

Look at the bright side.
After slavery , Confederacy , etc. is removed and erased from history Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al will be out of a job.
That bunch will have nothing to complain about.

And a prediction...
Bet they go after the Viet Nam War and all memorials associated with it .
The will claim it an unnecessary and illegal war that killed and maimed hundreds of thousands of people on both sides.

Um. No. Archaeological discoveries brought to light over the past decade or so have shown that the pyramid builders were free and talented people. While they might well have felt obliged to work for Pharaoh, they were not slaves.
And if you're about to refer to the gospel of Cecil B. DeMille. consider this. The Hebrews were very likely enslaved, but the Hebrews did not build the pyramids.

I saw exactly what you have stated on the History Channel a few years ago. The Pyramids existed long before the Prophet Moses era. Slaves did not build the Pyramids.

I don't think I've ever heard anybody say that. At least not anybody that got beyond sophomore year in high school. And nobody is trying to rewrite history. Removing the statues which glorify traitors and placing them in a museum where what they represent can be studied for example, serves to further knowledge of history. Lee, Jackson, Davis and the others were no less the traitors than was Benedict Arnold. Do we have statues glorifying him erected anywhere in America?
