A few weeks ago, I submitted a new topic about using filters to minimize problems of smoke in Moab and received many good suggestions. Thank you.

Now I am now pleased to report that the smoke has left Moab and the photography opportunities are again terrific. Stayed at Red Cliffs Lodge on the Colorado River, 14 miles outside of Moab. Very nice--probably the best in the Moab area. Very peaceful, good food, and great views.

That is great news. Thank you for sharing such a fine set of Moab landscape images. Exceptional color rendering.

Great news! This is spectacular area for photos. It would have been a shame to have to fight with haze. Great shots, and many more to come I'm sure.

Moab and the trip to Green River are beautiful opportunities. I have not been back since the early 80s and would love to go again. We are looking a trip to hit the majors in Utah and photograph in the future if my health holds. Beautiful shots that brought back great memories. Thank you

I heard there was road construction in the park. Are they done? Are roads accessible for night sky photography? Thanks!

Some road construction in Arches but not too bad. You should check park websites but I believe you have to be out of park by 7pm.

Nice set of photos. I especially like #4, looking out from among the rocks.

There you go making trouble reminding me of days past, mountain-biking Slick Rock and Porcupine Rim Trail and watching the jeeps climb Lion's Back. Loved the beauty and hated the whimp's micro brews.
