Typically, boats under way do not run flat like a car. They run uphill pushing against the force of the water and its resistance. If you leveled the boat then the land would be tilted. BOats are only level in the water when they are stopped or at idle.

thank you Lowrider, I knew that when I shot the photos, and when the critique came to level them. I did not wish to sound abrasive to the critics tho, so I took my pills. You should know that the first 2 do need straightened, if you look at the horizon behind the boat. But the 3rd, I did try to level in PP, but it may still be a tad off.
Having said all this, I thought the fascinating thing to me was how much water the Andrew K. was pushing. That's almost as much as a big freighter, with the submerged bulb style bow...
:-) I appreciate your help Lowrider, to give me a chance to 'splain-it
This should demonstrate Bow Push, and a dolphin or 2

Very nice. I grew up on the Mississippi River and have been in Marine Insurance for the past 40 years. So I was speaking from experience. The good news is, I am retiring at the end of the year and picking back up the hobby that has sat mostly idle for the past 20 years.
