Beautiful area. The lake looks so calm.

This is Lundy's Lake and is situated at the west end of Lundy's Canyon in the Sierra Nevada north of the town of Lee Vining, California.
Your photo is seriously off color. Most of it was white balance; you need software and lessons on how to use it. Here is an attempt to fix; one can only do so much with a jpeg.

Thanks for pointing out that the white balance had not been set in the file I posted.

Thank you for your kind words Vickey; they are much appreciated after the dressing down I recieved from the boorish man who posted the comment above just before yours. Yes, I did make a mistake in proscessing the RAW file by not setting the white balance in Lightroom, but he didn't have to be snarky about it.
Yes, the area east of Yosemite has a lot of great scenery and it really is a great place to go and that is what I try showvicksart by posting these photos.
Thanks again for you response.

I don't think you should get your feathers ruffled over those comments. He could have just made a remark about your photo and walked away from it, but he didn't, he spent his time, regardless what that is worth, it was his time, and he showed you what he meant. He took your picture and showed you how to change it. Your local college would charge you $150 per hour for that same advice.
I don't put my pictures up here just to show them off - I want negative reviews with suggestions - so I can grow in my art. If I just want to show them off, I post them to Facebook and listen for the ooohs and aaahs.
I suspect the lesson you got today will be remembered far longer than if he had said "nice photo"
I meant nothing but trying to help. We all learn by getting help from others; that 's all I meant by it; was to help. make sure that you look at all phases of your photos; what's in focus, what's not and is that the way I want it. Is the contrast OK. Are the colors correct, the lighting over all......etc.
Really don't know what is going on. In Guy's image that I see, it is a beautiful image of a beautiful place. Perhaps there was a different image originally. But on my monitor, Guy's image looks better to me than "wolf's". About the "dressing down", it generally isn't so much what one says but how one says it. Guy will remember his "lesson", for sure. But he may have learned just as well with a "BTW, did you realize that you hadn't set your WB in PP?"

This area to the east of Yosemite in the Sierra Nevada, for those who don't know, has a lot of wonderful attractions: Mono Lake, Bodie, Lundy's Canyon (where this image was shot) and many more, too numerous to mention ( to use a worn-out cliche).
Ignore the hullabaloo, Guy. Your photo was just fine.
