Gallinule is a very close relative. I believe this is a Common Moorhen.

After checking with bird guide photos, I believe you are correct. It is a common moorhen. Thanks.

Actually, the AOS split and changed both definitions in 2011 to reflect the following:

The Common Moorhen is found in Asia, Europe & Africa.

The Common Gallinule is found in the Americas.

They are similar, but, from my understanding, have different vocalizations.
