One of my best Osprey/salmon shots from today.

Hand held @ 800mm and about 125 to 150 feet away.

This was taken today at Hayden Lake, north Idaho.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/1328 - f/10 - ISO @ 1000.

Excellent job as always, composition, timing, exposure, technique spot on. Or to put it another way, another gem from Regis.
I hope to get a chance to try this sometime.

Very nice shot Regis! Was that today, 9/11/17? Talked to Larry and he said it was dead today. How much longer do you think it will be going on? The wind must have been out of the SW.

Thank you very much, RRS. I took this photo today at 12:50 and for another hour there was some action, but after that, it was slow. However, the salmon were jumping
out of the water and plenty of Osprey were there. So, don't give up. There should be more good shots to be had in the next few days.

It should look good. This was taken with a 50.6 mp camera (Canon 5Dsr) and a $6900 prime lens.
