Why? I answered his question. It's a very easy Google search to do.

Canon Pixma Pro 9000 was introduced roughly ten years ago. At some point in time, I'm not sure exactly when, it was replaced by the Pro 9000 Mark II.
Around five years ago the Canon Pixma Pro-100 replaced the Pro 9000 Mark II, which was discontinued.
The Pro-100 is still in production and there's no indication whether or not it will be replaced by a new model any time soon.
You can purchase a Pro-100 for about $130 net, after a $250 mail-in rebate. The Canon Online Store still has Pro 9000 Mark II, if you really want one. They cost $500.
Thank you for your kind and through response. Very helpful. So much better than one of the others that i received. Dennis.

That's OK. You can also do your own research with a little effort.
It fits into that old adage about teaching a man to light a fire. Once he knows how, he'll be warm for the rest of his life. Set a man on fire, he'll also be warm for the rest of his life.
Is there a reason why you cannot do a little research for yourself?

I believe that is the reason for Uhh. It gives us a place to go too ask a question of people that know about something to get a proper answer. Other wise why ask the question.

Good point, but asking a well formulated question is respectful of people's attention. The OP did not do that, and while being snarky, I answered his question and pointed him in the right direction to let him do his own research. I do not wish to be responsible for his personal hygiene, nor other aspects of his well being.
UHH is a community, but not a charity, nor a self help group - the Attic being excepted from that classification.
