A birthday present to me, and I went crazy until I got this pic, I put the camera down for a bit, then picked it up again, loving every moment I can capturing something that has meaning to me or more importantly to others, who knows I may be a real photographer, when I grow up!! lol

Fantastic shot of the moon, Christina, and believe it or not, my first shot was flowers with a tiny Nikon Coolpix, and I've been addicted ever since.

First time I was brave enough to attempt to even use my husband's Canon Rebel T3i I went out to my flowerbed and did close up shots of bees on the flowers. Of course I didn't have a clue what I was doing but I've loved trying to improve my photos of bees every since then. I do believe close up photos are my favorites.

My first efforts were taking pics of semi trailers when we were traveling with Mum & Dad...my older sister handed her 127 Brownie down to me when I was 12 years of age and started the ball rolling...
