Hello... I just joined here. I've been retired for almost a year, and am looking forward to learning new ways of improving my photography skills. My wife and I use Canon DSLRs and like to shoot all sorts of photos, but mostly wildlife and landscapes.

Welcome to the Hog. Always good to have additional retirees join. I retired 23 years ago at age 52.

Welcome!!!

Best way to "improve your photographic skills" is to post lots of images for critique . . . don't take the responses personal . . . and work hard at separating the real good advice from the those that just like to see their strange ideas on the screen. Like all forums we have our share of "nasties" that think the "best" way to have the tallest building is to tear down all the rest. Take them with a grain of salt and enjoy all the great positive suggestions that you will receive.

Look forward to seeing some of your work.
