Practicing around the house to keep from buying a new camera

I have been practicing my focusing and post processing skills. I would LOVE a new camera, but finances being what they are for a retired old fart, my bridge camera seems to do what I need it to do. I don't want to be Ansel Adams and not working for National Geographic, so I just want good clean and sharp photos. Critique is always welcome. Thank you folks.

Looks like your bridge camera is outstanding in capturing your vision. Why change and have a GAS attack..Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

We have been here almost 3 years. Got our eye on the hurricane Irma cuz we don't know where we will have to boogie to. Lasted out Matthew and we stayed in Augusta about 125 miles away. This one could really be something else.

I know what you are going through, seems like overtime we take a trip I look at a new camera. Took out my cool pix L320 and have started shooting locally. It is light, reasonable compact and takes darn good pictures. I will stick with it.

Yikes! If Irma turns up the east coast, which is a probability, you're still gonna catch hell from her only two or three days later. Maybe it won't happen that way and you can post some great pics from Williamsburg. I'm in N. Alabama so looks like drenching rain is all we may get. Good shooting to you.
