I have tried all day to post this, it seemed like maybe I shouldn't but, I don't give up too easily, so here it goes!
yesterday I decided I was going to the country to get some pics, well my plans changed, the further I got down the road " water " came to mind, so I took the next exit to carter caves, and got some water shots, nothing like water... it's a definite source we cannot live without, it can be healing in so many ways, revives, restores & replenishes, now on the down side of that it can be , troubling, dangerous & destroy! As we well know by Hurricane Harvey, A horrible natural disaster, that effects so many lives, and leaves so many hopeless, I can only imagine how horrific it must be! one thing I do know water is also very living and gives life, and restores all that is lost! So to say all of this, Tap into the main water source there is a vast supply, that runs freely & very deep!!!
Hope you enjoy & May God Bless you in a very mighty way!!

I like your photos but, with due respect, think they would be better if not cropped so tightly. For me it helps to see where the water is coming from, maybe some sky in the picture to give a sense of where is up etc. Of course this is just me and everyone else on UHH may have different opinions. That is fine with me as well. Thanks for posting.

Thank you so very much, I tried to focus on water & what surrounded, I actually shot a lot in what I think to be close up, and then some with rock etc.. I always feel if I get too much of sky or such I may cut out what I'm focusing on, is that bad??? Ty help me..lol

Christina only you can judge what is bad. If you like your photos as is then my opinion doesn't count for much at all. That is the way it should be. But if 100 UHH people say the same thing then you can either go with what you like which is just fine or you can work on your composition skills. Your pictures are fine and look nice. I am suggesting another look is all. Maybe give it a try next time to see if you like it. If not then still no harm done. Right now, the way I see your photos, is all you show is water and some rocks. By putting in some sky or trees or at least something else there will be a size comparison to let us know how big your water fall is, how it compares with the surrounding area. That is what I am getting at.

No, I'm intrigued by the aspect of shooting "little falls". I haven't really considered doing that in the past, but I think i will try the next time I'm near some.

You are welcome. Do not take my comments as anything bad about your photos. They are fine photos and you did well. I am offering an alternative. If you ever get up to NYS you are sure to find some large waterfalls at the Western end of the state on the NY/Canadian border. Niagara something or other. Those are BIG Falls.
