Great sets Gracie and information; thank you for hosting. This is a subject I have not mastered....but occasionally work on. Here is one of my great grandson on Gramps skid steer...located in the shade of the trees.

He'll drive that thing one day!

Just headed out for a bit...been away for several days....I will try some natural light portraits over the next few days...Here are a couple from 2 years ago. I used our RV window as my natural light.

Have just a couple and hopefully may get a chance to try more. #1 is a close up of the captain on the schooner we were on Saturday celebrating a brother in law's retirement. #2 I converted to BW - working with purposeful overexposure #3 Natural light, soft filter - siblings and the partying was for my brother in law on the left. Light is from a wall of windows to left upstairs and down and a chandelier out of sight to the right. I will admit to a tad of a vignette. I would "work" #2 but not for this challenge.

I seldom photograph people. These are 10 years old except for my wife in the rocker with our first great-grandchild. It's not well-composed, but sometimes the rule is 'get the shot'.

A very nice set I-fox....love 'Caladan'....deep in thought, the softness of her face, and all in blue.
