Folks, I've set up my Wacom tablet for Lightroom, but when I try to use it, nothing happens. The keys I have set up do nothing, and the pen does nothing. I can use my fingers on the tablet like a trackpad, but that's it. I can't contact Wacom until Tuesday, so I though I would ask here. Has anyone encountered this on initial use, and if so, do you have a solution I can try?
Thanks!
Have you run the setup procedure on the pad and also how old is your Lightroom?
It's LR CC. I have downloaded the driver. Is there more I should be doing? The six page Quick Start Guide is pretty light on detail!
I'm not sure, I have an Intuos 5 medium tablet. The only thing I can think of is, if you have downloaded the driver, reboot your system so your registry settings can kick in.

That's what worked. I had already restarted after downloading the driver as instructed, but apparently it wanted a second restart. Thanks, Wayne.
Uninstall and reinstall the driver. Sometimes it tends to get corrupted. I've had it happen. -edit- oops, looks like you solved it.

I did, but thank you, 10MPlayer.
Is yours wireless? Several years ago I bought one with the wireless feature but it won't work. Called Wacom and they replaced the wireless portion but it still failed. UHH readers reported that they were having the same problem with no apparent solution. I finally gave up and use it plugged in to the USB port. That was several years ago and I would assume more recent versions have been corrected but who knows. I will be watching for your response to see if they have fixed it yet.

Sorry, Toby, it's not wireless. I held off on adding the wireless kit required for my model tablet. Not sure I really care about it because it's not Bluetooth, so you still lose a USB port to the dongle.
Thanks for the feedback. I have no ideas. Good Luck

Oh, it's working now. It just took a second restart. No clue why.
