These are a few photos I shot in Austria in 2012, before I started shooting everything RAW. As a result, my post-processing options were a little constrained and the detail is not as good. I also get a little restricted in taking photos because I am hosting a group, aka herding cats. Anytime I look at old photos I see the things I should have done differently! Still, if you want to take nice photos, the easiest way to start is to go to a beautiful place!

Good pictures, yes raw gives you more freedom and pixels to work with. Try NIK to open shadows and bring in colors. NIK is free from Goggle. Takes time to understand each foto and practice with softwares to find what you like.
beautiful pics..im headed to Vienna/salzburg in October..hope to take a lot pics as well..also will be shooting raw by then I plan at least.nice job
I love these! What a blessing to be able to go there.

No disclaimer needed. These are beautiful pictures.
While further editing might improve the shots from a technical perspective, I still find meaning, impact and enjoyment in them, just as they are. Thanks for sharing.
Wow. Beautiful pics either way
Lack of RAW or not, excellent photography
Well done, Vienna74! Numbers 3 & 4 are my favorites.
Nice series. RAW definitely lets you do more post processing than jpeg.
