We vacationed for a week in Wyoning, Utah, and Nevada after the eclipse. So this pic is late. I didn’t see the eruptions and magnetic lines till after we got home. Tech Data: D7200, 200-500 at 480mm, Gitzo tripod with ball head, prime exposure f8 @ 1/20 second bracketed 5 exposures in 2 EV steps, no filters, only took pics during totality. Feel free to copy but, leave signature.

This is among the most interesting eclipse photos I’ve seen. May have gotten more comments if you had posted it in the Astronomical Photography forum. Kudos!

Spectacular, great capture showing the violent nature of our nearest Star.

That is the best one I have seen, too. Great job, well done. It was awe inspiring watching the eclipse. We traveled to Mo. to get to see this one in totality. The next one, my home is in the line of totality.

Fantastic capture capture and the best that I have seen!
ISO setting?
I assume this was a HDR composite of the 5 bracketed exposures?

Late to the party, but yes, that's amazing. I wasn't that far away (rural, eastern Wyoming), and I got the eruptions, but not the detail. Smashing!
