The birds must be stocking up for the winter. They have been around for a couple of weeks now. There have been as many as 20-30 birds hanging around the feeder to eat. Been a lot of fighting amongst the birds too.

I like it I'm down in Anoka and birds are starting to gather. Hard to gauge I now have a juvenile Cooper's hawk trying to stake out his territory which includes my backyard and feeders🙂

Very good photo. Looks like a lot of birds around the feeder when you took the photo. Maybe they are stocking up for an early winter? I certainly hope not.
