Trying out my Nikon FG with a 70-200 AI-s at New Smyrna Beach, FL

I recently got another Nikon film camera. I took it to the beach to try it out and here are some of the pictures. I didn't do any PP on these.

I am not sure but I think I may have gotten salt on the lens. The picture seems blurry.

I'm assuming it's a 3rd party lens as Nikon never made an AiS 70-200 F2.8. They did make a 70-210 F4 Ais (Series "E") & a 70-210 F4.5-5.6 Ais (Cosina made & Nikon branded). Looks as though focus may have been off or the lens isn't that sharp. Since I can't access EXIF info, I can only guess. Something on the lens may have caused a decrease in contrast but should not have affected sharpness much.

My bad. It is 70-210 F4 Ais Series E. It is my first time out with that combo. I think I was having trouble focusing with the lens all the way in. I will look at the mirror and the prism to see if they need cleaned. I have a 35mm lens for that camera. I haven't used that one yet, but I will to see if the same problem persists with the other lens. Thanks for your input.

Why would you expect EXIF data??

Never said I expected it as it was from a film camera which doesn't capture that info, but the OP didn't supply it either. I guess I should have said shooting data.

Thank you. I did look at the mirror and it was dirty so I cleaned that. Maybe I will be able to focus a little better now.
