Living in the Jungle has its advantages also dis-advantages: The upside is birds chirping at daybreak & during the day the only noise is the running water of the creek & sometime in the distance the beautiful music of a Hindu ceremony. The downside: The wildlife think its also there home & have had problems like monkeys in the swimming pool, swinging on the rafters in the outside bathroom, hundreds of frogs in the lily-pond which attracts the snakes & because the building is build of local material like coconut timber & grass roof termites a big problem also birds nesting in roof...so is it all worth it...yes, soon will be living here full time but now only half time.....

Sounds like your leaving Melbourne and moving to Bali full time Kevin. Hope it works well for you and keep up the posts please. How does your wife feel about the move. Great images by the way - sorry, I should have said that first.
I totally understand your "Problems" ;-) I too live in the Jungles (actually a Cloud Forest) in Costa Rica. Yes it really is Paradise and the "Problems" are Far better than fighting New York City traffic and overcrowding Anyday. Enjoy your slice of Real Paradise!
It looks like a beautiful place. I'm afraid that I no longer could deal with the down-side of living there. I'm a little too married to the creature comforts of living in urban areas.
I spend a lot of time in the jungles of Ecuador. They're fun to visit, but I'm not sure I'd want to live there. I do like to be dry - at least now and then!
