A few more of the fabulous birds we saw while in Africa
Crowned hornbill
African fish eagle eating a fish
yellow billed stork and white faced ducks
helmeted guineafowl--these guys were everywhere!
Black storks at sunset--this happened so fast and the lighting was weird and my shutter speed should have been faster--but I still like it!
hooded vultures on the lookout
southern yellowbilled hornbill
Egyptian goose
yellowbilled storks with young

Nice collection. When we went there, at first other people in the group would grumble when I would ask that we stop so I could take a picture of a bird. Soon they learned that birds were more plentiful than the big mammals they wanted to see and were so colorful. By the end of the trip they were asking to stop so they could see one of the beautiful birds there.
