Wile E. Coyote

I got a few shots of Wile E. Coyote but there was no road runner anywhere to be seen. I see coyotes pretty frequently, buy rarely get close enough for a photo, and when I do get close enough, I never have my camera handy. Well, yesterday afternoon I got lucky. Here's a couple of shots of the ol' cartoon character himself.

Fantastic shots! I've only seen one once, a couple years ago, but didn't get a decent shot.
Yours have larger ears than the NC ones.

Great shots Mike. I would imagine these guys could be a tough capture.

Hey Mike, great capture of an interesting, usually reclusive, subject. We're lucky living here in the northwestern Rocky Mtn. country as there are many coyotes in this mostly rural part of the country. Photographing them is another subject and we are always lucky when we get a chance or two each year, with camera in hand.!

Waegwan...Thanks for the nice compliment. You're right coyotes are hard to shoot, at least for me they are.

cameranut...As you well know, coyotes are very skittish and difficult to get close to. I have very few shots of those guys. And yes, I was at the right place at the right time. Thank you very much for your much appreciated compliment.
