New to photography. Not born yesterday.
Bought Canon 80D with 3 kit lenses and one 500mm fix focus tele. L class lenses are likely not in the cards right now. Been watching videos on YouTube about Photography and the 80D in particular. Bought Vanguard tripod. Had much trouble trying to center sun during eclipse. Much to learn for old dog short memory. Any advise welcome.
We shall see. Have a nice day.

Welcome to the HOG! This is a great place to be. Lots of nice people and you can get almost anything answered here by really knowledgeable people. There are a few asses but just go on by and don't think anything about them. What was said about good glass is so true even with a bad camera which yours isn't will make a big difference. Try to save up as you can, I know it is hard sometimes as I am retired and only have so much coming in. Enjoy the HOG and the new camera. The most important thing is to practice, practice, practice. Makes all the difference in the world. Send in some shots with the new addition. Thanks
Tom
