I am very fortunate to have many Superb Fairy Wrens living in my garden. If this beautiful boy in full breeding plumage has his way, I'm confident we'll be seeing lots of youngsters as the new season progresses.

Although various types of Wrens are found in most parts of Australia, this particular species ranges widely in dense bushland in the south eastern coastal areas.

A great capture of a truly beautiful bird. If they are anything like most of the wrens I try to shoot here in California, they are not easy birds to capture-always moving.
