We viewed the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017 from southern Illinois USA. Attached are a few of photos that I took during the event. There were 2 nice sunspot groups visible in the first 2 partial eclipse images. The third photo is a crop showing 2 of the solar prominences during totality and the last one shows the corona during totality. All were photographed through a Vixen 80mm f/7.5 Apo refractor.
Excellent series. Thanks for posting. I only got 93% her in Indiana, but my photo show the same sun spots.

Excellent shots..I like the Solar flares shown in no.3.
Very nice series. I'm jealous.
Well done. I initially thought you were using a Hydrogen Alpha filter but I think it was just an orange tinted one. I like that you caught a prominence during totality. I passed on my telescope for this one but am seriously considering it for 2024.
Thanks for all the compliments. For the partial eclipse phase photos I was using a 1000 Oaks white light mylar solar filter on my Vixen refractor. During totality I removed the solar filter and just took numerous photos at various shutter speeds about as fast as I could.
