I know, I should have cropped out the top of the fence post, but I wanted to preserve the grass. First picture I have posted, go easy!!
Hi Don, no, I won't go easy on you...First, let me say the photo is really good. Second, make sure the horizon is level, it doesn't matter about the foreground. the water appears to be slightly lower on the left side, (tilted.) Other than that, I think you have a very nice image there. Oh, BTW, it would be nice if, when you post a pic, click " (store original) " so we can see a larger image.

Very nice. Makes me want to be silent while I look at it. Tons of mood.

Don, I love the feel and mood of your photo. I do believe I like the cropped version the most. You could always go straight black & white or use a monotone of some kind and have the grass a positive instead of a slight distraction of the mood. Glad you posted, I enjoyed, and look forward to more from you. Sandy
Nice shot. I prefer the cropped version without the grass, but that is just a personal preference.

EVERYBODY, Thanks for the comments, makes me feel good to know that folks care. Rich 2236, thanks for your insight and thoughtful remarks. The way the hill falls on that shore, its next to impossible to make the water look level. It's just across the street from where we live so I have played with it a lot. I'll remember to click (store original) next time. I thought I had, was surprised when it did not post that way. And I forgot I have 15 minutes to edit!
