Thank you to whoever posted about getting the senior national parks pass! Had it not been for I would have been paying $80. Got mine yesterday for $10. If you're elegibel, 62 or over, get you're before the 28th.

Got the word from some friends Sunday and saw several UHH posts so found the Nat'l Forest Office and got mine Monday. Fast and easy. The offices are doing a brisk business these days.

Yes, it's a lifetime pass for free access to all national parks. The pass includes national conservation areas,
too, and perhaps other areas.

I have found this link https://yourpassnow.com/ParkPass/park/senior/SeniorPassInfoCollect
And they charge $10.00 for processing, &20.00 altogether. Did you pay processing fee? Can you send the link to the site where you bought your pass?

There is no processing fee if you buy it in person. Here is a list of places that they are available https://store.usgs.gov/sites/default/files/PassIssuanceList.pdf

If I recall correctly, I bought my pass at the entrance to a national park.

Even if you have to pay a $10 processing fee, it is worth it. A regular entrance fee will cost as little as $25.

Note that not all national parks charge an entrance fee. For Example, Capital Reef NP has none.

Thank you. I did not see any place in this list which is close to my home and also I see that they are selling annual senior passes and do not see passes for lifetime.

If you go down to a Natl Park Office it's $10.00 no additional processing fee. Just bring your photo ID like a drivers license to show your age.

I had to make several phone calls to find an office and hours open. I'm retired so I have the time to invest to save money. 😁

Thank you for your reply. Could you give me address, phone number or link to Natl Park Office. I could not find it on Google.

Slightly off subject but relevant to all non USA residents.
When we traveled through USA/Canada a few years ago we purchased a Golden Eagle pass for the National parks. Best money we every spent.
Danali alone was paid for many times, not to mention the many parks in Washington and a boat trip to Alcatraz - brings back many happy memories

The office I went to is in Albuquerque NM. I found the phone numbers to some of the National Parks located close to Albuquerque, called and got the hours and picked the one closest to my home. Sadly, I'm not familiar with what National Parks are in New York State, but try googling that first. Call the closest park's office and see if you can pick it up there.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. Best of luck!
