A Green Heron stopped in for some chow in the neighbor's yard. I'm not sure where he's coming in from or what their natural habitat is...but apparently he found easy pickins in the yard.

NIce set. I like photographing Green Herons as they are a bit more tolerant of people than some other birds.

Thanks kpmac. I couldn't really get much closer than 30-40 yds before he spooked. Hopefully, he'll keep coming around and hang longer.
