It's been a while since I posted anything, but my Clematis is putting on some nice blooms and the Cosmos now tower above me and starting bloom. The next 3 months are going to be fun.

Such a beautiful set--we purchases a neglected small clematis about six weeks ago and about the time it began making progress a deer or rabbit nipped off about one half of it. Now it seems to have recovered so we purchased a six foot cage for it several days ago and can see a small bud beginning to appear and hope it makes it before frost!

Hi jeeper,
All of the shots were taken with a Nikon D7200 and a Nikon 105mm lens. I am not sure of the settings because all of the exposures were shot at complete manual. You can upload the photos and review the data. The bee picture probably should have been shot at a faster shutter speed.
Thank you for checking out the pics.

Hi Carol,

It is good hearing from you. I just haven't taken many pictures recently, but now that I have a new crop of flowers coming on I will be back at it. Today, I was able to get some shots of the eclipse. It was about 90% to 95% complete from my back yard.

I'm glad you liked my garden pics.

Hi Swamp-Cork,

Thank you for your kind comments. Several of my neighbors have clematis that bloom early, but the verity I have blooms until late November when I cut them back. The deer are nibbling in my garden every night. They don't seem to really like anything in the garden, but that doesn't stop then from checking out and tasting everything. They ate the buds off many of the cosmos.

Thank you so much for your comments.
