Eclipse Shadows

These shadows of the eclipse crescents were created by the light filtering through the leaves of a tree. I never expected to see this. The second is of the shadow appearing between outspread fingers. I understand the shadows created by the leaves, but not the ones between the fingers.

Those ripples in the top shot are a phenomenon of the eclipse. They are rare and not easy to capture in a photo. Congratulations.

I like the first one too...that's a great shot of the eclise crescents...cool shadows.
