St. Louis eclipse - so lucky
There were thunderstorms just to our north but my son's house south of St. Louis lucked out with crystal clear skies. He and his wife threw a party including eclipse cookies, sun chips and eclipse hors d'oeuvres for the kiddies (half a grape sitting on top of a banana slice.) Biggest ooohs and ahhhs were when the "diamond ring" popped out. Great fun but with only a minute of totality, man you had to work fast.

Thank you for taking a look and your nice comment.
We had the TV tuned to NASA's YouTube live channel. It was great to see folks excitement at spots all across the country as each spot reached totality and hear experts talk about the eclipse. But I must say I was underwhelmed with the TV live views of the eclipse. Of course, they were working in real time and didn't have the luxury of post-processing like us photographers do.
Thank you Photog, Jerry and Jan.
Beautiful series. I am envious.
Great series. Glad you had good weather.
