Nice job catching it so well, and thanks for sharing. Only sixty percent or so up here, big whoop, much ado over very little.

Thank you very much
This is my first viewing of an Eclipse and most likely my last, I'll be damn near 84 then, but we'll see

Excellent captures, thank you for showing the set up.

Thank you very much Sylvia
The big black shields were Sharon's idea and worked very well, the lens shadow on the foam-core made the initial alignment easier.
And the best part we didn't leave the funny farm

All I can say is that I did not bother and I'm glad. In the Hudson Valley of NYS we had 70% coverage by the moon and 90-100 % by clouds, it turned into a non event in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Outstanding. Now that I have seen yours, I don't have to look at anymore. They won't be any better and if as good, they will all be the same.

I'M sorry you didn't get a chance to see the Total Eclipse, we were lucky to be in the path of totality and the clouds for the day were thin and opened up just before the eclipse.
It was a once in a life time event for us.

Not as good as I liked , but I did it.
Photographing this event was a lot of work. Things happened very rapidly as the moon move between the Sun and Earth, a lot faster than I expected, but it was fun.
This eclipse is the first I have seen, a once in a life time happening.

As my grandmother would say: "You done real good". Excellent !!! ~FiddleMaker
