I believe everyone should be able to block posts from whomever they choose and not to have to have any particular reasin. But one individual should not have the power to block any post to any forum. That is what happened - I am prohibited from posting to a forum because of my particular political views and beliefs. All I tried to do was post information gleaned from elsewhere that might have interest.
So UHH needs to rethink the powers placed in the hands of forum managers. Else, how would anyone know that information gained from a forum had not been screened to acheive someone's purposes Example, someone uncovers indisputable evidence that some camera has a vital weakness, but the forum manager is a fan of that camera's maker and maybe even sells them so the post gets blocked. In other words, the veracity of the UHH is at stake.

So you 'believe' that you know how to manage this forum better than Admin and the Section Moderators? Did one of the two Astro moderators actually TELL you that you couldn't post there because you are a libtard? Or did you just assume with your implicit bias? The Astronomical Photography Forum has two purposes:
1.) To share technique and equipment information among interested Astro-Photographers; and
2.) To display astronomical photography images, with all related information.
Sharp, in-focus, properly-exposed images of astronomical events are welcome to post within Astronomical Photography Forum.
Poor quality images will be discussed for improvement, and eventually deleted.
All images must have particular information pertinent to image capture:
1.) Camera, lens, telescope, tracking mount, tripod, etc.
2.) Exposure data: shutter duration & aperture.
3.) Time of year; time of night; direction (area of sky).
4.) Names of recognizable stars, planets, nebulae, etc.
5.) Topic title must relevantly describe image or images.
