Angel Oak in Charleston SC

Outside of Charleston SC, there is the Angel Oak. This mutant Oak tree is over 700 years old. The limbs need to be propped up and off the ground. It is just a beautiful, living creature.

Wonderful photos of the tree. I'll bet it is really amazing in person. Hopefully it lasts. I know that in some other places vandals have destroyed these old trees. I can't remember which one it was, but it was poisoned.
