The Malachite Kingfisher is a tiny little species we spotted in Namibia and Bostwana along the Chobe River. I'm hooked on any kind of Kingfisher but these take the prize for best color. They weren't too skittish so we got pretty close by boat. But seldom if ever saw them fishing. They are worth the download.

Great shots of a beautiful bird.
Fantastic, Greg! Not only an absolute charmer of a species, but your compositions, clarity, light - just outstanding.
Thank you all for taking the time to look.
