Another visit to the NWR. Seems there are new subjects each time. I missed on the gull with my shutter speed.

Thanks for looking Tikva. I guess hatching after sunrise stacks the odds against survival of the little guys.

Thanks kpmac. Agreed. These guys are late hatchers. Most were gone before daybreak. This beach has probably 100+ nests of various species.
Probably 20-30 eggs each. Getting to the ocean is possibly the easy part. Surviving for a couple of years in that ocean is another matter.
